Element 2 – Organization <br /> <br />City of Pleasanton Sewer System Management Plan, July 2025 7 <br />2.0: Element 2 – Organization <br />The SSMP must identify organizational staffing responsible and integral for implementing the <br />SSMP through an organizational chart or other similar narrative documentation that includes: <br />a. The name of the Legally Responsible Official (LRO). <br />b. The position titles, telephone numbers, and email addresses for management, <br />administrative, and maintenance positions responsible for implementing specific <br />SSMP elements. <br />c. Organizational lines of authority. <br />d. Chain of communication for reporting spills. <br />2.1: Organizational Chart <br />Implementation of the SSMP primarily falls under the City’s Public Works Department. <br />Divisions responsible for implementing elements of the sewer program include Utilities and <br />Environmental Services, Engineering, and Customer Service & Billing. The City’s current <br />Public Works Department organizational chart is illustrated in Figure 2–1. <br />
