12 Outlook
City Clerk Form submitted on City of Pleasanton
From City of Pleasanton <noReply@cityofpleasantonca.gov>
Date Mon 6/2/2025 12:45 PM
To Pleasanton City Clerk <pleasantoncityclerk@cityofpleasantonca.gov>
Your Phyllis Couper
Name
Your
Email
Subject Gulf gas station signage
Message Please require Gulf to shrink the overall visual structure of the gas station on First
Street. It dwarfs everything around it. The words are too imposing and the orange color
is aggressive. Right now, the station looks more like a loading dock that should be on a
wharf. The City Councils of Pleasanton have always made decisions that keep
Pleasanton a beautiful city. In my opinion, the Gulf structure isjust plain ugly and is not
in keeping with Pleasanton standards.
