RESOLUTION NO. 2025-040 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ADOPTING <br />THE PLEASANTON PUBLIC LIBRARY PRIVACY POLICY <br />WHEREAS, the library policy: Confidentiality of Library Materials (1999) is outdated or no <br />longer current; and <br />WHEREAS, the policy revisions represent important changes in technology and ensure <br />compliance with the State of California Library Privacy laws. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. Adopts the following Library policy as shown in Exhibit A attached to this <br />resolution: Pleasanton Public Library Privacy Policy and repeals the policy described in the first <br />Recital paragraph, above. <br />SECTION 2.
