GHAD Minutes Page 1 of 2 May 20, 2025 <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICTS <br />MINUTES <br />Tuesday, May 20, 2025 <br />6:55 PM <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chair Balch called the Special Meeting of the Geologic Hazard Abatement Districts to <br />order at the hour of 6:56 p.m. from the Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal <br />Avenue. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Boardmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Chair Balch <br />Absent: None. <br />1. Public Comment regarding items not listed on the agenda <br />Chair Balch opened public comment. There being no speakers, Chair Balch closed <br />public comment. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />2.Adopt resolutions approving the Engineer’s Reports for the Geologic Hazard Abatement <br />Districts (GHADs) for Laurel Creek, Moller Ranch, Lemoine Ranch, and Oak Tree Farm, <br />declaring the Board’s intention to assess the properties for the cost to operate and <br />maintain the districts and setting June 17, 2025, at 6:55 p.m., as the date and time for <br />the public hearing <br />Recommendation: Adopt Resolution Nos. GHAD 2025-149, 2025-150, 2025-151, 2025- <br />152 approving the Engineer's Reports for the Geologic Hazard Abatement District for <br />Laurel Creek, Moller Ranch, Lemoine Ranch, and Oak Tree Farm, declaring the Board's <br />intention to assess the properties for the cost to operate and maintain the districts and <br />setting June 17, 2025, at 6:55 p.m., as the date and time for the public hearing; direct <br />the Clerk of the Districts to mail a notice of the public hearing to the owners of real <br />property located within each GHAD. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Nibert/Testa to approve the item as recommended. Motion <br />passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Boardmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Chair Balch <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None
