5 <br /> <br />City will suspend program activities at the Library immediately if a safety concern arises, <br />including, but not limited to, emergencies or natural disasters, animal safety, environmental <br />hazards, or failure by volunteers or participants to adhere to safety protocols. <br /> <br />IV. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS <br /> <br />A. This MOU may be amended in writing and signed by both parties. <br /> <br />B. City retains the right to approve or deny such an assignment in <br />its sole and absolute discretion. <br /> <br />D. Authorized Signatures <br /> <br />Unless otherwise specified in this MOU, the City Manager or a designee will be the sole party <br />authorized to act on behalf of the City with regard to this MOU. Unless otherwise specified in <br />this MOU, the Valley Humane President or designee will be the sole party authorized to act on <br />behalf of Valley Humane. <br /> <br />E. Electronic signatures <br /> <br />This MOU may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which shall be an original and all <br />of which together shall constitute one agreement.
