Box 520 <br />Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> <br />Subject: Proposal to Complete Remaining Updates to Urban Forest Master Plan Final Draft <br />Dear Matt: <br />In an effort to fully address over 200 comments from City staff on the Public Draft of the Pleasanton Urban <br />Forest Master Plan (UFMP), the Dudek team has put in staff time beyond what was originally scoped to ensure <br />the City has an outstanding UFMP. These changes including updating budget models several times, updating <br />canopy maps, and reformatting several sections, necessitating renumbering of figures and table of contents <br />page number updates. This proposal includes additional hours for Dudek staff to complete the remaining <br />updates requested for the Final Draft of the UFMP. Thank you for the opportunity to submit this proposal. <br />Scope of Services <br />TASK 1 UFMP FINAL DRAFT UPDATE AND COMPLETION <br />Dudek’s Data Analyst will revise and add text to the canopy cover section and Appendix F (Land Cover <br />Classification and Canopy Cover Analysis Methodology) to clarify the methodology of Dudek’s landcover <br />classification and canopy cover analysis. The Data Analyst will also add information and considerations for the <br />City’s future use of on the other publicly available tree canopy data sets. The Project Manager will address any <br />other outstanding comments from City staff on the Public Draft and work with the Dudek Creative Services <br />staff to incorporate these last changes into the final draft of the UFMP, Technical Assessment, and Appendix <br />by mid-July. <br /> <br />ESTIMATED COST AND WORK SCHEDULE <br />Task 1.
