Alameda CTC Agreement No. A25-0054 <br />Project No. 1655000 <br /> <br />Appendix A – Page 2 <br />APPENDIX A-1 <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> <br /> <br />Project Description: <br />The project aims to create safer bicycle and pedestrian facilities traveling to and from Pleasanton and Dublin <br />on the I-580 overcrossings at Hopyard, Hacienda, and Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br />The project consists of: <br /> Hopyard Road Overcrossing - 6' bike lane with 4' buffer (with channelizers), green bike striping at <br />conflict points at I-580 on and off ramps, rectangular flashing beacons at I-580 on-ramps, and new <br />ladder crosswalks at I-580 on and off ramps. <br /> <br /> Hacienda Drive Overcrossing - 6' bike lane with 3' buffer (with channelizers), green bike striping at <br />conflict points at I-580 on and off ramps, rectangular flashing beacons at I-580 on-ramps, new ladder <br />crosswalks at I-580 on and off ramps and an extended curb at the I-580 east bound on-ramp to <br />reduce the pedestrian crossing. <br /> <br /> Santa Rita Road Overcrossing - 6' bike lane with 3' buffer (with channelizers), green bike striping at <br />conflict points at I-580 on and off ramps, rectangular flashing beacons at three I-580 on-ramps, one <br />rectangular flashing beacon for the eastbound I-580 off ramp, a new pedestrian hybrid beacon for <br />the I-580 eastbound on ramp, new ladder crosswalks at I-580 on and off ramps and an extended curb <br />at the I-580 east bound on-ramp to reduce the pedestrian crossing. <br /> <br />Alameda CTC funding obligated by this AGREEMENT is for the Final Design Phase. <br /> <br />Project Location and Limits <br /> Hopyard Road Overcrossing <br /> Hacienda Drive Overcrossing <br /> Santa Rita Road Overcrossing <br />Page 142 of 674
