Page 2 of 2 <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this action advances the Citywide strategic goal of Optimizing Our Organization by <br />continuously improving the organization’s ability to deliver quality services to the public, <br />supporting our employees’ professional development, hiring top talent, and encouraging <br />innovation in how we work. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The four-year financial impact on the LPFD budget as a result of implementing the successor <br />MOU is approximately $8.6 million through June 2029. This cost is shared by the cities of <br />Pleasanton and Livermore. Pleasanton’s portion of the obligation is approximately $4.3 million <br />over the four-year contract period. After the MOU has been executed, the LPFD budget will be <br />adjusted to reflect the increase in cost for FY 2025/26 and FY 2026/27.
