RESOLUTION NO. 2025- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />DECLARING THE INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE LIGHTING & <br />LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1984-1 PONDEROSA FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR 2025/26; DECLARING THE INTENTION TO CONTINUE THE LEVY AND <br />COLLECTION ASSESSMENTS; AND SETTING THE DATE FOR THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as required by Section 22622 of the California Streets and Highways Code, <br />the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has described proposed improvements to be included <br />for the determination of annual assessments levied for Lighting and Landscape Maintenance <br />District No. 1984-1 Ponderosa, created under the Lighting & Landscape Act of 1972, and <br />ordered the preparation of an Engineer’s Report to determine the annual levy of assessments <br />for such District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as required by Section 22622 of the California Streets and Highways Code, <br />the Engineer has filed with the City Clerk a Preliminary Engineer’s Report for the Lighting & <br />Landscape Maintenance District No. 1984-1 Ponderosa for Fiscal Year 2025/26. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The City Engineer is designated by this Council as the Engineer of Work <br />for Lighting & Landscape Maintenance District No. 1984-1, Ponderosa, during fiscal year <br />2025/26. The area of land to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda <br />County. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The City Council intends to continue to levy and collect assessments <br />within Lighting & Landscape Maintenance District No. 1984-1, Ponderosa, during fiscal year <br />2025/26. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are generally <br />described as follows: <br />Maintenance of a landscaped strip north of Corte de Flores on the west side of Paseo Santa <br />Cruz and north of Corte Pacifica on the east side of Paseo Santa Cruz and the landscaped area <br />on the east side of the Arroyo de la Laguna trail between the Pleasanton Canal and Arroyo del <br />Valle. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. In accordance with this resolution directing the filing of an annual report, <br />the City Engineer has filed with the City Clerk the report required by the Landscaping and <br />Page 225 of 864
