ATTACHMENT 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />APPROVING THE INVESTMENT POLICY AND GUIDELINES OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to California Government Code Section 53646(a)(2), the <br />City’s Investment Policy and Guidelines may be submitted to the City Council annually <br />for adoption; and <br />WHEREAS, staff presented to the City Council such a policy document for fiscal <br />year 2025/26 on June 17, 2025; and <br />WHEREAS, staff is recommending approval of the policies and guidelines <br />outlined in that document. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER <br />THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Adopt the Investment Policy and Guidelines for fiscal year 2025/26 <br />as reflected in Exhibit A. <br />Section 2.
