anticipation of unplanned repairs and the addition of four new City locations to be serviced -
Callippe Preserve Golf Course, Las Positas Pumping Station – Water, N. Sycamore Pumping
Station – Water, and Vineyard Hills Pumping Station - to ensure that staff will be made aware
of any maintenance issues that arise. Notably, given the advanced age of the City’s
infrastructure, there is a likelihood of multiple fire panel failures during the coming two years
which this increase would cover. The proposed increase of $145,118 ($48,340 for FY 2023/24
and $96,778 for FY 2024/25, which are inclusive of a Consumer Price Index increase) is
intended to cover essential repairs, ongoing maintenance, and unforeseen issues, for a new
total not-to-exceed amount of $395,118.

EQUITY AND SUSTAINABILITY
This item is a routine administrative matter of City business.

OUTREACH
No outreach was conducted, as this item is a routine matter of City business.

STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT
This item is a routine matter of City business.

FISCAL IMPACT
There is sufficient funding in the two-year budget for the $145,118 increase to the agreement
with Tri-Signal Integration, Inc., which is funded in Facilities Maintenance & Operations
(00140301) with Miscellaneous Repairs and Maintenance Contacts (420101) and Contract
Services (430107).

Prepared by: Submitted by: Approved by:

David Luera, Operations &
Maintenance Manager
Norm Dorais, Director of Public Works

Gerry Beaudin, City
Manager

Attachments:
1.
