Physical Collections <br />The Pleasanton Library's physical collections are curated to meet the community's <br />diverse interests and needs. The Library continually assesses its physical resources, <br />using the Collection Development Policy as guidance and incorporating holdings and <br />usage data to ensure a well-rounded selection of materials. The physical collection <br />includes books, DVDs, CDs, and Library of Things items. <br />Funding allocations for adult/teen and children’s collections are based on circulation <br />volume and average item cost.
