15 <br /> <br />Exhibit D <br /> <br />CONDITIONS OF USE <br />Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center Pleasanton Seahawks Swim Team <br /> <br />In order to facilitate use of the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center ("facility") and ensure a <br />safe and healthful environment for all concerned, the following conditions of use shall be <br />adhered to: <br /> <br />1) At least two (2) Seahawks lifeguard-certified coaches shall be on the pool deck while <br />Seahawks team members and affiliates are present. At no time shall anyone be in the <br />pool or on the pool deck without at least two (2) Seahawks lifeguard-certified coaches <br />present. <br />a) Each pool in use must have lifeguard certified staff who are constantly surveilling and who <br />can clearly see all areas of the pool in use. <br />b) Should Seahawks not be able to provide sufficient lifeguards for their practice, they <br />can request the City to provide lifeguard services for an additional cost at the Staff <br />Rate shown in Exhibit A. <br />c) Seahawks will not be able to hold practices for times they do not have sufficient <br />lifeguard coverage in all areas of pools in use. <br /> <br />2) No Seahawks team member or affiliate shall enter the facility until the member's <br />coach is present and directly supervising the program or other use. <br /> <br />3) Before Seahawks coaches leave the facility, they shall inspect all lockers and locker <br />rooms used by the team members or affiliates and completely clean up the lockers <br />and locker rooms and pool decks associated with the use. All equipment shall be put <br />away as instructed by City staff. <br /> <br />4) Food and gum shall not be allowed in the restrooms, in the pool, or on the pool <br />decks. Seahawks staff shall check restrooms before and after use to assure Seahawk <br />team members and affiliates are in compliance. <br /> <br />5) Seahawks team members and affiliates shall be subject to all Dolores Bengtson <br />Aquatic Pool Rules found in Exhibit C. Seahawks coaches shall be responsible for <br />enforcing rules and conditions of use with Seahawks team members and affiliates. <br />Any failure to abide by the rules or conditions of use could be grounds for <br />immediate suspension of use of the facility by the Seahawks. <br /> <br />6) Seahawks shall manage pool cover removal and covering, except when use is <br />complementary to a City program.
