City of Pleasanton 2 Woodard & Curran, Inc. Arroyo Lago Sewer Impact Study September 3, 2025
• Option 2 would convey Arroyo Lago and East Lakes flows through a new alignment
along Mohr Avenue and Iron Horse Trail; Amazon flows would follow Busch Road to
Ironwood Drive to the above network.
Woodard & Curran will summarize the model results in a brief Technical Memorandum (TM)
for review by the City. The TM will document the model updates and assumptions made for
the evaluation and include model hydraulic profile plots of the flow in the relevant downstream
sewers.
The TM will also identify where public sewer improvements (e.g., pipe upsizing) may be needed
to serve each development scenario, and the sizing of any new or upsized sewers. As the proposed developments contribute to Capacity Project 4, identified in the City’s Capacity
Evaluation Report, the evaluation will also determine how the proposed Capacity Project 4
would need to change to accommodate the additional flows, based on the two conveyance alternatives described above. The pro-rata share for each of the proposed developments
(Arroyo Lago, East Lakes, and Amazon) to the Capacity Project 4 project cost will be determined for each of the scenarios. Comments received from the City will be incorporated into a final TM.
Task 3 – Task Order Scope Preparation, Administration, and Coordination
• This task covers overall contract management related to this task order and preparation
of this draft task order scope of work for City’s review and approval. An overall two-
month task order period is assumed. Woodard & Curran will monitor project budget
and schedule, prepare invoices, and communicate with the City by telephone and e-
mail regarding project status and issues.
Deliverables:
• Draft task order scope and budget
• Draft and final summary TMs
• Monthly invoice and task order progress report
Estimated Cost
The estimated level of effort and cost for completing the scope of services described above is
$18,335 as detailed in the table below.

Project
Manager
Project
Engineer
PIC/Sr.
Tech.
Review
STM PE2 STPL PA
$355 $295 $375 $145
Arroyo Lago Sewer Impact Study Update
1 - Create Model Loading Scenarios 6 14 20 $6,260
2 - Evaluate Adequacy of Sewer System 10 20 2 32 $10,200
3 - Task Order Scoping, Admin, Coordination 3 1 3 7 $1,875
Original TOTAL 19 34 3 3 59 $18,335
1.
