ATTACHMENT 1 SECTION 6. Assessments shall be assessed and collected at the time and in the manner and with the same penalties as is provided in the Pleasanton Municipal Code for the collection of business license taxes. The City’s Finance Director is authorized to advance funds to the District in anticipation of expected revenues. SECTION 7. The City Council has found that the businesses and the property within the District shall be benefited by the improvements and activities funded by the assessment to be levied. SECTION 8. A summary of this ordinance shall by published once within (15) days after its adoption in “The Valley Times,” a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk’s office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. SECTION 9. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its passage and adoption.
