There is adopted by reference that certain code known as the International Property Maintenance <br />Code, more particularly described in this section, except such portions as are amended, modified or <br />deleted in this chapter and the same is adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length in <br />this chapter. <br /> <br />B. Said Code is the International Property Maintenance Code 2024 Edition including all Appendices, <br />published by the International Code Council. <br /> <br />C. These regulations shall be known as the Pleasanton Property Maintenance Code, hereinafter <br />referred to as “this code.” <br /> <br />D. Wherein the Code references the “Executive Official” or the “Code Official” it shall mean the <br />Building and Safety Official or the Acting, Temporary or interim Building and Safety Official. <br /> <br />20.65.020 Section 102.3 amended - Application of other Codes. <br /> <br />Section 102.3 of the International Property Maintenance Code, 2024 Edition is amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />102.3 Application of other Codes. Repairs, additions or alterations to a structure, or changes of <br />occupancy, shall be done in accordance with the provisions of the current edition of the California <br />Building, Plumbing, Electrical and Mechanical Codes as adopted by the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />20.65.030 Section 107.4 amended - Violation penalties. <br /> <br />Section 106.4 of the International Property Maintenance Code, 2024 Edition is amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br />10674 Violation penalties. Any person who shall violate a provision of this code, or fail to comply <br />therewith, or with any of the requirements thereof, shall be prosecuted within the limits provided by <br />state or local laws. Each day that a violation continues after due notice has been served shall be <br />deemed a separate offense. A violation of any section of this code constitutes a violation of the <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code. Penalties for violations will be as provided in Section 1.12.020, <br />1.24.030, 1.28.030 or any other application section of the Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br /> <br />Page 71 of 376
