Table 6: Youth Commission Fiscal Year 2023/24 Recommendations <br />Agency Grant Project <br />Amount Requested Recommended <br />Description Funding <br />Student Led Programs for Environmental Outcomes-Provide training <br />Go Green Initiative <br />and opportunities for Pleasanton youth(high school age)to develop 7,500 7,500skillsandexperienceinclimateactionandpublicpolicywhilehelping <br />the Cit of Pleasanton achieve its environmental goals. <br />The First Tee Tri-Valley STEM Golf Camp- First Tee will serve <br />Partners For Golf Inc./The Pleasanton youth ages 5—17 who will benefit from our unique <br />5,000 5,000FirstTeeoftheTri-Valley strategy of teaching the game of golf combined with interpersonal <br />skills and STEM. <br />PRE STEAM Grants Initiative—PRE wants to focus on being able to <br />Pleasanton Partners in widen the number of grants it gives to clubs and organizations that <br />5,000 5,000Education (PPIE) submit proposals each year, as well as market and develop its <br />program better to give even more groups the chance to apply. <br />2023/24 PUSD Elementary/Middle/High School Presentations— <br />Provide presentations in elementary, middle and high schools <br />throughout the PUSD to proactively engage youth in meaningful <br />Teen Esteem conversations, and provide them with resources,to help them address 7,500 7,500 <br />depression and anxiety, social media/gaming, substance abuse/ <br />prescription drug abuse/vaping, bullying/cyberbullying, pornography, <br />and res ectful relationship boundaries. <br />High School: This program provides a two-day Healthy Relationship <br />and Consent Presentation to all district gth grade students.
