In the event construction crews <br />are phased in, additional training will be <br />conducted for new construction personnel. <br />MM GEO-2c: During ground-disturbing <br />construction activities, full time <br />paleontological monitoring shall be <br />conducted by a qualified Paleontological <br />Resource Monitor meeting SVP standards <br />and best practices, under the supervision of <br />the Principal Paleontologist. Monitoring shall <br />be restricted to areas that intrude into the <br />Claremont shale and Monterey formations <br />(i.e., generally below 2 feet) and <br />undisturbed subsurface areas of marine <br />sedimentary rock units of Miocene-age. In <br />the event potentially significant <br />paleontological resources are encountered <br />during ground-disturbing activities, <br />construction-related activities within 50 feet <br />of the find shall stop. No excavation or other <br />disturbances shall occur within the buffer <br />zone until the find has been evaluated by
