Exhibit A – Scope of Work Maintenance of Debris Separating Baffle Box (DSBB) Full Trash Capture Device Maintenance Activities: x Services for inspection of the DSBB unit shall occur twice per year (December & JuQH), Assessment of the DSBB unit includes evaluation for integrity and will determine as- needed cleaning based on sediment, debris and trash load to restore DSBB unittreatment capacity x As-needed services for cleaning of the DSBB unit, manufactured by BioClean Model 18, with a depth to bottom of the sump of approximately 20 feet, for the removal of sediment, debris and trash load to restore treatment capacity of the DSBB unit x Cleaning of the DSBB unit is estimated to take place in December of 2025 on an as- needed basis and maintenance (pump out) activities are estimated to occur in July and/or December x DSBB cleaning and inspections shall include photos of the interior of the trash capture cages pre and post cleaning, and the sediment basins pre and post cleanings x Maintenance activities for the DSBB will include the removal of all floatables, trash, decanted stormwater, pump out of all sediment and debris. Pressure wash, vacuumsump floor and separation screening x The rental of and use of a water meter with backflow protection from the City of Pleasanton will be required. (This can be obtained from the Customer Service Center, call 931-5500) x Wastewater and debris generated from maintenance will be recovered and disposed of properly and lawfully Work Conditions: x Traffic Control – DSBB is in a private parking area. Traffic control measures shall be deployed for vehicular and pedestrian safety x The contractor shall provide copies of current confined space training certifications for its staff who supervise entry and/or entering a permit required confined space x Provide a copy of the process for the proper and lawful disposal of debris and waste wash water x Provide a list of all vehicles to be used for cleaning activities for the DSBB
