4 understands that a technical peer review of the Traffic Study prepared by TJKM will be conducted by the City. If revisions to any of the technical reports are necessary, Raney will coordinate with the City to have the reports revised. Raney shall complete the following deliverables: • Prepare comments on technical reports, if necessary; and • Coordinate with the City to have the reports revised, if necessary. Task 3 Prepare Administrative Draft IS/MND The objective of this task is to prepare an Administrative Draft version of the IS/MND for review by City staff. The IS/MND will be prepared based upon City standards and will address all the issues identified in the Environmental Checklist, per Appendix G of the CEQA Guidelines. Raney will use the latest version of the Appendix G Checklist. As noted above, Raney will rely on the provided technical reports, as well existing information provided by the City of Pleasanton and or/the project team, pertinent City of Pleasanton documents, including but not limited to the City of Pleasanton General Plan, General Plan EIR, and any other pertinent information prepared for the project site and surrounding area to address the CEQA topics set forth in Appendix G of the CEQA Guidelines. Raney does not anticipate that additional technical reports or peer reviews conducted by technical experts will be required. However, if determined necessary, Raney would propose to sub-contract with the appropriate sub-consultant for the preparation of project-specific reports or technical peer reviews. With respect to cultural resources, given the passage of AB 52 and the associated amendments to PRC 21080.3.1, lead agencies are required to consult with Native American tribes early in the CEQA process if one or more tribes have previously requested such notice pursuant to AB 52. Raney understands that the City of Pleasanton has not received any letters from tribes requesting notice pursuant to AB 52/PRC Section 21080.3.1. Therefore, formal notification of the tribes will not be required. In addition, projects requiring an amendment to a General Plan or Specific Plan are required to comply with SB 18. Because the General Plan's Mixed Use designation references and defers to the applicable PUD District development plan, a General Plan Amendment is not assumed to be required. Raney will coordinate with the City to confirm whether compliance with SB 18 is required. Raney will complete the following deliverables: • Prepare the introduction, project description, illustrations, and environmental checklist and discussion of the IS/MND; and • Submit one electronic copy of the Administrative Draft IS/MND to the City upon completion.
