ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> <br />SECOND AMENDMENT TO AMENDED AND RESTATED EMPLOYMENT <br />CONTRACT CITY MANAGER <br />This Second Amendment to Employment Contract City Manager (Second <br />Amendment) is made and entered into December 16, 2025, between the City of <br />Pleasanton and Girard “Gerry” Beaudin. <br />WHEREAS, City and Beaudin entered into an employment contract on April 19, <br />2022, a first Amendment on December 20, 2022, an Amended and Restated <br />Employment Contract City Manager on October 17, 2023, and a First Amendment to <br />Amended and Restated Employment Contract City Manager on December 3, 2024. <br />The parties wish to amend the 2024 First Amendment to Amended and Restated <br />Employment Contract with this Second Amendment. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council reviewed Mr. Beaudin’s performance on <br />December 3, 2025, considered a salary survey of city managers from similar <br />jurisdictions, and reviewed his accomplishments in leading the organization. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, in exchange for valuable consideration, the parties agree as <br />follows: <br />A. Section 3. Compensation of the Contract is amended to provide that salary will <br />increase by 3.5 percent effective September 1, 2025, to $343,512 annually. <br /> <br />B.
