ATTACHMENT 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />AMENDING VARIOUS SECTIONS OF THE PURCHASING PROCEDURES MANUAL <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Purchasing Procedures Manual ensures that City purchases are made <br />with proper oversight and procurement methods; and <br />WHEREAS, City employees are responsible for adhering to the procedures in procuring <br />goods and services on behalf of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, periodic amendments to the Purchasing Procedures Manual are <br />necessary to ensure adequate control, efficient procedures, and adherence to state <br />requirements; and <br />WHEREAS, amendments are recommended to ensure adequate control and efficient <br />procedures are in place. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The Purchasing Procedures Manual is updated as set forth in Exhibit A. <br /> SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br />passage and adoption. <br /> SECTION 3.
