Pleasanton BART
Existing Physical Site Conditions Opportunities and Constraints Evaluation Oct 16, 2025

8
b. BART Rider Parking

The Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station is served by multiple vehicular parking facilities on the
Dublin and Pleasanton sides, as shown in the map below. The capacities are as follows:
• Pleasanton side (surface parking only): total 1,352 spaces spread across four surface lots
• Dublin side (garage and surface parking): total 1,797 spaces
• Parking garage: 1,521 spaces
• Three surface parking lots: 276 spaces

Figure 3-1: Map of BART parking facilities at the Dublin/Pleasanton station

In addition to the above BART-owned parking facilities, the Dublin Transit Center garage,
constructed for the purpose of providing much needed transit parking at the Dublin/Pleasanton
hub and completed in June 2024, also adds 507 spaces. As of April 2025, it appears to be
minimally used.

Based on the BART occupancy count from spring 2025, parking on the Dublin side is about 58%
occupied (1,035 spaces) while that on the Pleasanton side is about 51% occupied (693 spaces).
The City has received additional MTC grant funding for a parking management study on parking
availability in the area- this is separate from this effort and will be carried out in the near future.

The station accommodates bike parking for 173 bicycles at multiple locations:
• Near the station entrance: 56 BikeLink lockers and 24 BART bike lockers
• Opposite the station entrance: 35 bike racks and 28 BikeLink lockers
• Adjacent to the Dublin Transit Center garage: 30 bike lockers

DRA
F
T
