The purpose of this exemption is to
streamline the approval process for residential and mixed-use housing developments that meet specific
criteria related to location, land use, density, and environmental conditions.
As a statutory exemption, projects that meet the requirements of Public Resources Code Section
21080.66 are not subject to the limitations that apply to categorical exemptions under CEQA Guidelines
Section 15300.2, including exceptions for unusual circumstances or cumulative impacts.
EXEMPTION ELIGIBILITY
1. Size and Location Requirements
The project site is located on approximately 2.59 acres within the boundaries of the incorporated City of
Pleasanton.
