City Council Minutes Page 1 of 1 January 13, 2026 <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES <br />Tuesday, January 13, 2026 <br />2:00 PM <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Balch called the Special Meeting Closed Session of the City Council to order at <br />the hour of 2:03 p.m. from the Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert (teleconference), Testa, Mayor Balch <br />Absent: None. <br />1.Public Comment <br />Mayor Balch opened public comment. There being no speakers, Mayor Balch <br />closed the public comment. <br />ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION <br />2.CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL—ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br />Initiation of litigation pursuant to paragraph (4) of subdivision (d) of Gov't Code <br />Section 54956.9: 1 potential case <br />REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION <br />The City Council gave conditional direction to initiate an action.
