Appointment of Chair and Vice Chair Page 1 of 1 Planning Commission <br /> <br /> <br /> Planning Commission <br />Agenda Report <br /> January 28, 2026 <br /> Item 4 <br /> <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Continued from December 10, 2025 - Appointment of Planning Commission <br />Chair and Vice Chair for 2026 <br /> <br /> <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code Section 2.30.070 describes the organization of the Planning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Per Section 2.30.070, the Commission shall, each December, elect a chair and a vice -chair by <br />majority vote. Commissioners may serve no more than two consecutive full terms as <br />chairperson of the commission. Accordingly, staff recommends the Planning Commission <br />elect a chair and a vice-chair for the one-year term beginning January 1, 2026. <br />
