Staff has provided the location and noticing maps as Exhibit D for
reference. The public notice was also published in The Valley Times. At the time this report
was prepared, no comments were received.
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT
An environmental review for the Spotorno Ranch residential development was conducted as a
Consistency Checklist under Sections 15182 and 15183 of the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA). The requested time extension for the Vesting Tenant Subdivision Map
8616 does not include changes to the original approval. The request is within th e scope of the
previously analyzed project. Thus, no further CEQA review is required.
CONCLUSION
The request is for a time extension of the original approval to provide additional time for the
applicant and its design team to prepare the required plans and documents . Since no changes
are proposed to the project and other associated circumstances remain unchanged, staff
supports the requested extension.
Primary Author: Jenny Soo, Associate Planner, 925-931-5615 or jsoo@cityofpleasantonca.gov.
Reviewed/Approved By:
Derek Farmer, Planning Manager/Deputy Director of the Community and Economic Development Department
Julie Harryman, Assistant City Attorney
