Attached is our rate sheet for your reference. <br />CPOPTS charges are based solely on mileage, calculated for round trips from our <br />headquarters to the drop-oƯ facility and back. <br />Transport Cost: <br />Ground Transport <br />1. California Patrol Operations Prisoner Transportation service rates are determined by <br />the round trip per mile as well as a pick-up fee. Our mileage calculations begin from <br />our headquarters in Sacramento. <br />Please note that CPOPTS does not charge a pick-up fee for a second prisoner being picked <br />up at the same location or along the same route. However, the rate for the second prisoner <br />is discounted by 50%. The attached table outlines the service costs per mile and for <br />transporting a second prisoner. <br />2. Cancellation Charges <br />If a cancellation occurs on the day of transport, a charge of $4.50 per mile round trip will <br />apply from the pick-up location to the CPOPTS oƯice.
