I had a lot to do <br />with the planning of the new pool at the Aquatic Centre and we were also <br />up against opposition for this. Eventually, we managed to convince the <br />city that an olympic size pool was the way to go and it is now much <br />appreciated by all. Unfortunately, my children did not have the <br />opportunity to swim in it as we moved away and they are now grown up. <br /> <br />The British Pub would be a lovely addition to downtown Pleasanton and <br />would be extremely well run. I now live in Danville and am a frequent <br />visitor to the British Pub in downtown Danville. I still come to <br />Pleasanton at least once a week and would welcome the opportunity to use <br />the British Pub in Pleasanton. I am used to British Pubs coming from <br />England and they are a good thing to have in the community - they are <br />not like the bars. <br /> <br />I cannot attend the meeting this week but would appreciate you putting <br />my comments forward for me. <br /> <br />Thank You <br /> <br />Kathy Till <br /> <br /> <br />
