Otto, <br /> <br />I am writing with regard to a planning application from the owners of The Crown Pub in Danville. As I am sure <br />you are aware, they have a plan to be submitted to the City of Pleasanton Planning Commission on September <br />10th for premises at 780 Hain Street. <br /> <br />My wife and I relocated to Pleasanton in Hay of this year attracted by the businesses in the downtown area <br />and events regularly scheduled by the city. We have frequented many restaurants and attended <br />several events in the short time we have been living in Pleasanton. It is by far the best community that we <br />have lived in over the years. We have also enjoyed visits to Danville downtown area and feel that the general <br />ambience of both cites is very similar. The Crown Pub has been one of our favorite places in Danville and we <br />often wished that they had premises here in Pleasanton. I was excited to learn of their plans recently to <br />establish a business in our downtown area. <br /> <br />I am sure that they would be an assest to Pleasanton and would be an excellent addition to the community <br />that I enjoy so much.
