RESOLUTION NO. 2026-011 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE EAST BAY REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT FOR USE OF ROADS WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PLEASANTON TOWNSHIP COUNTY WATER DISTRICT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT #3 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, as successor to the Pleasanton Township County Water District (PTCWD), owns fee title to Santos Ranch Road, which was constructed with funds from the PTCWD Assessment District#3 Fund; and WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton, as the successor to the Pleasanton Township County Water District (PTCWD), controls the surplus funds in the PTCWD Assessment District #3 Fund; and WHEREAS, the original Santos Ranch Road Shared Maintenance Agreement was entered on August 4, 1999 and expired on August 4, 2024; and WHEREAS, the EBRPD requires use of portions of Santos Ranch Road to access property owned by the East Bay Regional Park District; and WHEREAS, on October 7, 2025 the EBRPD Board of Directors authorized EBRPD staff to enter into this Agreement; and WHERAS, this agreement is required to define the obligations and maintenance responsibilities for the City of Pleasanton and the EBRPD. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. Approves the Santos Ranch Road Maintenance Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and East Bay Regional Parks District, a copy of which is attached hereto, and directs the City Manager to execute all appropriate documents. SECTION 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on March 17, 2026.
