<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Date: 2/24/26 <br /> <br />To: Finance Department <br /> <br />From: Aaron Bueno, Library and Recreation Manager <br /> <br /> <br />Subject: Gingerbread Preschool Playground Bids <br /> <br /> <br />The Gingerbread Preschool playground for ages 18-months to 2 years old is dilapidated <br />and has been out of use for the last five years. City staff contacted various playground <br />contractors and requested estimates for demolition of the existing playground, preparation <br />of playground area and installation of new playground features. Staff contacted the <br />following 3 contractors to obtain informal bids based on past experience with them: <br />1. JB Infrastructure <br />2. Suarez & Munoz Construction, Inc. <br />3. G & G Builders <br /> <br />After pursuing bids for over six months, the bids received were as follows: <br />1. JB Infrastructure: $26,800 <br />2. Suarez & Munoz Construction, Inc.: $30,000 (does not include installation) <br />3.
