Safety and Setbacks <br />Public Notification and Right To Appeal/Public Hearings <br /> <br />Giving service providers a "green light" to install wireless facilities wherever they want <br />is reckless and irresponsible. There are many examples of communities throughout <br />the Bay Area that have excellent cell coverage administered by sensible ordinances. <br />Ordinances that address the items I reference above. As an example, many prohibit <br />wireless facilities in, among others, residential zones, schools, and parks. <br /> <br />Mr. Mayor and Council Members, I appeal to your sensibility when the Commissioner <br />brings this to the Council April 21 meeting. <br /> <br />Regards, <br />David Zimpfer
