7 <br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK - EXHIBIT A <br />Site Improvements, Concrete, and Paving <br />Fire Station No. 5 Temporary Structure Project <br />City of Pleasanton – 1200 Machado Place <br />1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform site <br />preparation, grading, concrete installation, paving, and related improvements to support the installation of a <br />temporary enclosed structure at Fire Station No. 5. <br />All work shall be performed in accordance with the approved plans, including the Site Plan (C-1) and <br />Construction Details (C-2), and consistent with City of Pleasanton standards. <br /> <br /> <br />2. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />2.1 Site Preparation and Grading <br />The Contractor shall: <br />x Prepare subgrade and achieve proper compaction to 95% relative compaction <br />x Perform minor grading to match existing site elevations and drainage patterns <br />x Protect existing utilities, including water, sewer, electrical, and irrigation systems shown on plans <br />2.2 Aggregate Base Installation <br />The Contractor shall: <br />x Place and compact 8-inch Class II Aggregate Base (AB) <br />x Achieve required compaction prior to concrete placement <br />x Fine grade base to meet plan elevations and slopes <br />2.3 Concrete Slab Installation <br />The Contractor shall: <br />x Install approximately 625 square feet of 8-inch reinforced concrete slab for the structure foundation <br />x Install #4 reinforcing steel at 18 inches on center each way <br />x Match slopes as indicated on plans (approx. 1% slope) <br />x Provide broom finish <br />2.4 Concrete Driveway / Approach <br />The Contractor shall: <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 42D0FC2F-328E-8A96-8129-04A8EA2105A0
