RESOLUTION NO. 2026-035 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION FOR <br /> THE TERM OF JUNE 1, 2026 THROUGH MAY 31, 2029 <br /> WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the <br /> Pleasanton Police Officers' Association expires on May 31, 2026; and <br /> WHEREAS, representatives from the City of Pleasanton have met and conferred with <br /> representatives of the Pleasanton Police Officers' Association and prepared a successor <br /> agreement covering the period June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2029. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of <br /> Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Officers' Association <br /> for the term commencing June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2029. <br /> SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the <br /> book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on May 19, 2026. <br /> I, Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of May 2026, <br /> by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> ff(),,,t/j.,4J <br /> -i-L., <br /> Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk <br /> APP OVED AS TO FORM: <br /> v <br /> Daniel G.
