FIRE SPRINKLERS: Automatic fire sprinklers shall be installed in all occupancies in <br />accordance with the 2025 Pleasanton Building, Fire and Residential Codes with local <br />amendments and ordinances. <br /> <br />90.89. MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD: All structures located in any fire hazard <br />severity zone or wildland interface area shall comply with all applicable section of the <br />current CBC chapter 7A. <br /> <br />91.90. VEGETATION MANAGEMENT COMPLIANCE: Shall be in accordance with the current <br />CBC chapter 7A (701A.5) and the 2022 CFC section 4906, including California Public <br />Resource Code Section 4291 or California Government Code Section 51182. <br /> <br />92.91. FIRE PROTECTION FACILITIES: Prior to any construction framing, the project <br />developer shall provide adequate fire protection facilities, including, but not limited to a <br />water supply and water flow in conformance to the City's Fire Department Standards <br />able to suppress a major fire. <br /> <br />93.92. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS: Should any operation or business activity involve the use, <br />storage or handling of hazardous materials, the project developer shall be responsible <br />for contacting the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department prior to commencing <br />operations. Please contact the Hazardous Materials Coordinator at 925-454-2361. <br /> <br />94.93. FIRE HYDRANTS: Fire hydrants shall be installed at spacing not greater than 300 feet <br />in industrial and commercial developments. Fire hydrants shall be installed at spacing <br />not greater than 400 feet in residential developments. <br /> <br />95.94. FIRE LANE MARKING: On-site access ways, turn arounds, and internal drives shall be <br />designated as fire lanes and identified as such by red curb striping and posted with <br />signs at locations approve by the Fire Department. Signs shall be according to State <br />standards and read “No Parking – Fire Lane” and must be shown on the plans. The red <br />curb striping, sign location(s), and sign language shall be included in the building permit <br />submittal for review and approval by the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department prior to <br />building permit issuance. <br /> <br />The following schedule for NO PARKING signs shall apply: <br /> <br />Width Requirements <br />36 feet or greater No requirements <br />Between 28 and 36 feet Post one side <br /> Between 20 and 28 feet Post both sides <br />Less than 20 feet Not permitted <br />Cul-de-Sac Not permitted <br /> <br />96.95.
