7 <br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK - EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />Temporary Prefabricated Metal Garage Installation <br />City of Pleasanton – Fire Station No. 5 <br />1200 Machado Place, Pleasanton, CA <br /> <br /> <br />1. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to <br />construct and install a prefabricated metal garage structure in accordance with approved engineered plans, <br />calculations, and manufacturer specifications. <br />The structure consists of an approximately 18-foot-by-30-foot enclosed steel building with an approximate <br />height of 11 feet, designed in compliance with applicable California Building Code (CBC) and ASCE <br />structural loading standards. <br /> <br /> <br />2. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />2.1 Pre-Construction Coordination <br />The Contractor shall: <br />x Verify all field conditions and dimensions <br />x Coordinate access, staging, and scheduling with City staff <br />x Review and adhere to engineered drawings and manufacturer specifications <br />x Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations <br />2.2 Site Preparation and Foundation <br />The Contractor shall: <br />x Prepare existing concrete slab and/or foundation <br />x Verify surface is level and suitable for anchoring <br />x Install anchor systems, including ½-inch expansion anchors <br />x Install base rails aligned with the required framing layout <br />2.3 Structural Framing Installation <br />The Contractor shall: <br />x Assemble and erect prefabricated steel framing, including: <br />o Vertical posts <br />o Rafters and ridge components <br />o Base rails and connectors <br />x Install all brackets and structural components per specifications <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 28533DFB-8675-8793-83AC-54FA0C9BB6FA
