GHAD Minutes Page 1 of 2 May 19, 2026 <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT <br />DISTRICTS <br />MINUTES <br />Tuesday, May 19, 2026 6:55 PM <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chair Balch called the Geologic Hazard Abatement Districts meeting to order at the <br />hour of 7:00 p.m. from the Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Boardmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Chair Balch <br /> Absent: None. <br />1.Public Comment – Comments are limited to items listed on the agenda <br />Chair Balch opened public comment. There being no speakers, Chair Balch closed <br />the public comment. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Eicher/Nibert to approve the consent calendar as <br />recommended. Motion passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Boardmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Chair Balch <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />2.Adopt resolutions approving the Engineer’s Reports for the 2026/27 annual <br />assessments for the Geologic Hazard Abatement Districts (GHADs) for Laurel <br />Creek, Moller Ranch, Lemoine Ranch, and Oak Tree Farm; declaring the Board’s <br />intention to assess the properties for the cost to operate and maintain the Districts; <br />and setting June 16, 2026, at 6:55 P.M., as the date and time for the public hearing <br />Recommendation: <br />1.Adopt resolutions approving the Engineer's Reports for the Laurel Creek, <br />Moller Ranch, Lemoine Ranch, and Oak Tree Farm GHADs; <br />2.Declare the Board's intention to levy assessments for the cost of operating <br />and maintaining the districts; <br />3.Set June 16, 2026, at 6:55 p.m., as the date and time for the public <br />hearing; and <br />4.Direct the Clerk of the Districts to mail a notice of the public hearing to the <br />owners of real property located within each GHAD. <br />Item #2 <br />Page 2 of 19
