Section 10 2025 Urban Water Management Plan <br />Plan Adoption, Submittal, and Implementation City of Pleasanton <br /> Public Draft | May 2026 <br /> 10-4 EKI Environment & Water, Inc. <br />As a publicly owned utility, Pleasanton is not regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission. <br />10.7 Amending an Adopted UWMP or Water Shortage Contingency Plan <br /> <br />If Pleasanton amends either the UWMP or WSCP, the City will follow the required steps for notification, <br />public hearing, adoption and submittal will also be followed for the amended document. <br /> <br /> CWC §10644 (b) <br />If an urban water supplier revises its water shortage contingency plan, the supplier shall submit to the department <br />a copy of its water shortage contingency plan prepared pursuant to subdivision (a) of Section 10632 no later than <br />30 days after adoption, in accordance with protocols for submission and using electronic reporting tools <br />developed by the department.
