CITY OF PLEASANTON – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT v2.5
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY – 3 RD PARTY ACCESS
3.Security Policy Violations: Any violation of the City of Pleasanton’s IT security
policies, including but not limited to breaches of confidentiality, integrity, or availability
of data and systems, will result in immediate revocation of remote access privileges.
This measure is crucial to maintaining the municipality’s network security and data
protection standards.
4.Risk-Based Termination: The ITD retains the authority to terminate remote access
privileges at any point should they be deemed a risk to the municipality’s network or
data security. This may include
changing passwords, revoking digital certificates, and conducting a security audit to
assess and mitigate any potential risks arising from the revocation.
5.0 Policy Review and Modification
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated to reflect technological changes, security
threats, and organizational needs.
6.0 Third Party User Agreement
I have read and understand the Third-Party Access Policy.
