<br />Proposal for Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department NBS | 10 <br /> <br />5 | REFERENCES <br />Below is a sampling of projects and references similar in scope and magnitude to the LPFD’s needs. <br />NORTH CENTRAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT <br />FIRE PREVENTION SERVICES FEE STUDY <br />Project Dates: 2023 - 2024 <br />Contact Information NBS completed a comprehensive review of fees for the District’s <br />Fire Prevention Services Program. Fees studied included State- <br />mandated annual inspection permits, California Fire Code permits, <br />and new development review, plan check, and inspection services. <br />The District had originally adapted their fee schedule from a local <br />City and the main focus of this project was to customize the list of <br />fees to fit the size, scale, and type of services provided as an <br />independent special district. Fees studied included <br />Annual Operational Fire Permits and Inspection Fees, Business and <br />State Mandated Inspections, Fire Review of Building Construction <br />Plans, and Development/Engineering Services Review. The main <br />focus of this project was to review and simplify the overall fee <br />structure and ensure fees charged are defensible.
