City Council Minutes Page 1 of 7 June 2, 2026 <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES <br />Tuesday, June 2, 2026 <br />7:00 PM <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Balch called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:00 <br />p.m. from the Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br />Absent: None. <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />Vice Mayor Gaidos pulled item 4 from the consent calendar for discussion. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Mayor Balch stated the consent calendar item 1.a. is to approve an employment contract <br />for Interim City Manager Joe Calabrigo. <br />Mayor Balch opened public comment. There being no speakers, Mayor Balch closed the <br />public comment. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Councilmembers Nibert/Testa to approve the consent calendar <br />as recommended with the exception of item 4 which was removed from the consent <br />calendar. Motion passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />City Council and City Manager <br />1. <br />a.Approve Employment Contract for Interim City Manager with Joseph Calabrigo <br />Recommendation: Approve Employment Contract for Interim City Manager with <br />Joseph Calabrigo which provides for a monthly salary of $25,000. <br />Item #4 <br />Page 22 of 923
