City Council Minutes Page 7 of 7 June 2, 2026 <br />Mayor Balch closed the public comment. <br />4.Approve annual street closures for 2026 <br />Recommendation: Approve annual street closures for 2026. <br />Vice Mayor Gaidos made a motion to add the closure of Second Street (north to south) <br />on Halloween 2026 to the list. <br />Mayor Balch opened public comment. The following individuals provided comment: <br />Jamie Yee. <br />Mayor Balch closed the public comment. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Councilmembers Gaidos/Nibert to approve the street closures <br />list as presented. Motion passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br />Vice Mayor Gaidos requested a cost analysis for a Second Street closure on Halloween <br />for consideration at a future City Council agenda item.
