City Council Minutes Page 6 of 7 June 16, 2026 <br />Recommendation: <br />1.Authorize the City Manager to enter into an AMI CPX Agreement for Goods and <br />Services with Core & Main LP for the Water Meter and AMI Replacement Project <br />in an amount not to exceed $10,262,257; <br />2.Authorize the City Manager to enter into an AMI OPX Agreement for Goods and <br />Services with Core & Main LP, for the software services, network services, and <br />future water meters purchases in an amount not to exceed $2,514,096; and <br />3.Authorize the Director of Public Works, or designee, to approve and execute <br />change orders for the awarded agreements, subject to a total aggregate <br />contingency amount not to exceed $513,113, which is equal to five percent of the <br />total awarded contract amount. <br />Presentation by Siew-Chin Yeong, Public Works Director. <br />Mayor Balch opened public comment. Motion passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Councilmember Eicher <br />5.Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Design Professional <br />Services Agreement with Kier and Wright Civil Engineers and Surveyors, Inc., in <br />the amount of $925,411 for the development, evaluation, and creation of a precise <br />roadway alignment for El Charro Road (CIP 27501), and approve the related <br />budget amendments <br />Recommendation: Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the Design <br />Professional Services Agreement with Kier and Wright Civil Engineers and <br />Surveyors, Inc., in the amount of $927,618, and approve budget amendments to <br />transfer $925,411 from the Tri-Valley Transportation Development Fee Reserve, <br />CIP No. 01541, to the El Charro Road Precise Roadway Alignment Project, CIP <br />No. 27501 (21430124-440108-27501) in the Tri-Valley Transportation <br />Development Fund (Fund 214). <br />Presentation by Mike Tassano, Traffic Engineer. <br />Mayor Balch opened public comment.
