MINUTES <br /> Tuesday, June 2, 2026 <br /> 7:00 PM <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Balch called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:00 <br /> p.m. from the Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br /> Absent: None. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Vice Mayor Gaidos pulled item 4 from the consent calendar for discussion. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Mayor Balch stated the consent calendar item 1.a. is to approve an employment contract <br /> for Interim City Manager Joe Calabrigo. <br /> Mayor Balch opened public comment. There being no speakers, Mayor Balch closed the <br /> public comment. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Councilmembers Nibert/Testa to approve the consent calendar <br /> as recommended with the exception of item 4 which was removed from the consent <br /> calendar. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> City Council and City Manager <br /> 1. <br /> a.
