Memorandum of Understanding <br />Between the City of Pleasanton and JustServe US West <br />Purpose <br />This Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) establishes a collaborative relationship between the City of <br />Pleasanton (“City”) and JustServe to support and strengthen volunteer service opportunities within the <br />community. <br />Background <br />The City of Pleasanton has been nominated as a JustServe City, recognizing the community’s commitment to <br />service, volunteerism, and strengthening connections among residents, organizations, and community partners. <br />JustServe is committed to helping communities identify opportunities for meaningful service by connecting <br />volunteers with nonprofit organizations, community initiatives, and local needs. <br />Commitment to Collaboration <br />Through this partnership, JustServe would like to support the City of Pleasanton’s volunteer efforts by: <br />• Helping promote available volunteer opportunities within the community. <br />• Connecting individuals, families, organizations, and groups with service opportunities where available. <br />• Supporting community service initiatives that align with the needs and priorities of Pleasanton. <br />• Encouraging collaboration among local nonprofits, community organizations, and volunteers. <br />The City of Pleasanton may share information regarding community service needs and opportunities, and <br />JustServe will provide support and resources when appropriate and available. <br />No Financial Obligation <br />This MOU does not create any financial obligation or legal commitment between the City of Pleasanton and <br />JustServe. Both parties participate voluntarily and may determine the level of involvement and support provided <br />based on available resources and community needs. <br />Term and Modification <br />This MOU will remain in effect until modified or discontinued by either party.
