District acknowledges that City will not provide WorkAbility students with any <br /> transportation services. WorkAbility students, District instructors and District staff will <br /> be able to use public parking at these City facilities on the same terms as other members <br /> of the public. <br /> <br />6. City Staff. City shall not decrease the normal number of City staff or City staffs’ working <br /> hours as a result of the WorkAbility students at City facilities. <br /> <br />7. Curriculum. District shall approve the sites in advance of WorkAbility student <br /> assignments. The days and hours of the in-person hours for WorkAbility students are to <br /> be agreed mutually between District and City. While District may recommend plans for <br /> observations and/or field experience for WorkAbility students, District acknowledges that <br /> that shall be subject to the absolute discretion of City. <br /> <br /> District and City agree that WorkAbility students in-person activities may include, but not <br /> be limited to, the following: <br /> <br />Pleasanton Senior Center <br />Help with weekly items such as dusting baseboards/blinds, hosing off chairs and <br />sweeping <br />Set-up for lunch <br /> <br />Alviso Adobe Community Park <br />Weeding the Val Vista Community Garden <br />Weeding the Orchard and Bee and Butterfly Garden <br />General cleaning (sweeping, cleaning windows) of the Alviso Adobe building and <br />Visitors Center <br />Picking up trash/litter around the AACP <br />Animal care <br /> <br />City of Pleasanton Library: <br />Shelve paperbacks, DVDs, graphic novels <br />Straighten shelves <br />Organize magazines and newspapers <br />Clean/dust shelves <br />Break down cardboard boxes for technical services <br /> <br />Pleasanton Police Department: <br />Wash cars <br />Clean up parking lot <br />Clean gym, fold towels <br />Tasks that PPD dept requests <br /> <br />Callippe Preserve Golf Course: <br /> Activities as set forth in a separate agreement between District and CourseCo <br /> <br />8. Indemnification.
