MILITARY EQUIPMENT USE REPORT 2024 <br /> <br />12 <br />Armored Rescue Vehicle (ARV) <br />Our ARV was utilized a total of 1 times between January 1st, 2024, through December 31st, <br />2024: <br /> <br />Authorized usages: <br />● Safely address an individual who displays self-destructive, dangerous, or combative <br />behavior. <br />● Safely address an armed, or potentially armed, or violent individual. <br />● Circumstances where a tactical advantage can be obtained. <br />● Situations where officers utilized de-escalation techniques. <br />● Safely rescue citizens and first responders during armed confrontations and violence. <br /> <br />Unauthorized usages: <br />● There have been zero (0) reported violations of the military equipment used by police <br />from January 1, 2024, through December 21, 2024. <br /> <br />Unmanned, remotely piloted, powered aerial or ground vehicles <br />Unmanned, remotely piloted, powered aerial or ground vehicles were utilized a total of 14 <br />times between January 1st, 2024, through December 31st, 2024. This includes both robots and <br />drones.
