Performance Pest Management | City of Pleasanton Pest Control Services Proposal |Page 7
Adjust
When conditions or pest pressure change, the program will be adjusted accordingly.
Communicate
City representatives will receive documentation regarding observed activity, treatments performed,
products used, locations serviced, corrective-action recommendations, and follow-up needs.
This approach allows Performance Pest Management to concentrate resources where they provide the
greatest benefit while minimizing unnecessary treatment.
6. RODENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
Rodent management is one of the most important components of the City's Scope of Work and one of the
areas in which site conditions may vary most significantly.
Performance Pest Management will inspect City properties for evidence of rodent activity and establish
appropriate control measures based upon the conditions encountered.
•Tamper-resistant bait stations
•Interior traps
•Monitoring devices
•Strategic placement based upon documented activity
•Relocation of devices as pest patterns change
•Replacement of bait as necessary
•Replacement of damaged bait stations
•Inspection and resetting of traps
•Monitoring of bait consumption
•Documentation of rodent activity
•Identification of possible entry points
•Exclusion recommendations
•Sanitation recommendations
•Vegetation-management recommendations
•Waste- and storage-related recommendations
•Follow-up service when necessary
Bait Station and Trap Quantities
Performance Pest Management does not believe that an arbitrary number of rodent-control devices
should be assigned to each facility before actual conditions are known.
A facility with little or no rodent pressure should not necessarily receive the same level of equipment as
a facility experiencing significant activity or located near open space, landscaping, food sources,
waste-storage areas, drainage corridors, or other conditions favorable to rodents.
Likewise, pest pressure can change throughout the year.
For these reasons, Performance Pest Management proposes to establish rodent-control equipment and
treatment levels according to documented activity, actual site conditions, and the results of ongoing
monitoring.
Docusign Envelope ID: 12D38450-126F-85C2-806D-B77CACC97D2B
