ARROYO LAGO RESIDENTIAL PROJECT
ADDENDUM

FCS 71
Https://adecinnovations.sharepoint.com/sites/PublicationsSite/Shared Documents/Publications/Client (PN-JN)/2148/21480036/Addendum/21480036 Arroyo Lago Residential Project Addendum.docx
forest land to non-forest use. Therefore, the Prior FEIR concluded that no impact related to
agriculture or forestry resources would occur. (Draft EIR, p. 4-1).
Proposed Project Analysis and Conclusion
The project site involves the same land evaluated in the Prior FEIR and, therefore, consistent with the
determinations made in the Prior FEIR, the proposed project would have no impacts related to
agriculture and forestry resources. The project site is not designated as Prime Farmland, Unique
Farmland, or Farmland of Statewide Importance, and is not encumbered by a Williamson Act Contract
or zoned for Timberland Production.
While the project site is currently zoned A by the County’s zoning ordinance, the project site would be
rezoned to PUD-MDR as part of the proposed project. Therefore, the proposed project would not
conflict with the project site’s agricultural zoning. Further, the proposed project site is mapped as
“Other Land,” confirming that there would be no impact to land classified as Farmland or Forestland.
The project site has a nonagricultural soil classification and is not under a Williamson Act Contract.
Therefore, the proposed project would not introduce new significant impacts or create substantially
more severe significant impacts than those previously identified in the Prior FEIR. No additional
analysis is required.
Zone 7 Stormwater Option
Consistent with the analysis in the Prior FEIR, the Zone 7 Stormwater Option would not result in any
new or more severe agricultural impacts. It would not convert FMMP-designated farmland, conflict
with agricultural zoning, or result in the loss or indirect conversion of agricultural land; therefore,
impacts would remain less than significant and consistent with the Prior FEIR.
Mitigation Measures
None.
Conclusion
There is no new information of substantial importance, changes in the project, or changes in
circumstances under which it will be undertaken, identifying new significant effects, nor is there a
substantial increase in the severity of previously identified significant impacts related to agriculture
and forestry resources. The conclusions from the Prior FEIR remain unchanged when considering the
implementation of the proposed project. No further environmental review is required.
